20 Ways to Say Thank You

Auto Date Thursday, October 25th, 2007

You know you just want to say thank you, but you want to say it:

(a) simply (get-it-over-and-done-with deed)

(b) extra-special (think haikus and clever rhymes)

(c) uniquely (personalized narratives)

What to put in that thank you note to guests? Here are our suggestions, based also on the many photo magnet souvenirs we’ve made for the past three years. Take your pick, tweak it or share with us your own versions. Remember, every gift deserves a thank you, and your guests’ presence in your big event is already a gift - the gift of their time, the gift of their thoughtfulness.

  1. Thank you for coming!
  2. Thank you for joining us this day!
  3. Thank you for sharing this special moment with us!
  4. We are grateful for your presence on our special day!
  5. We are blessed to have you with us today!
  6. Your presence alone is a gift to us. Thank you for being with us today.
  7. Our heartfelt thanks for your best wishes.
  8. Your blessings and well wishes mean a lot to us. Thank you for being here!     Read the rest of this entry »

Traditions

Auto Date Friday, December 22nd, 2006

It’s actually three days before Christmas.
Hay, kay bilis.

Everybody is in a mood to party, dress up and shop. Well…. This may well be the busiest month for Konsepto and while I feel guilty that I’m not even halfway through my Christmas shopping list and missed out most of the Simbang Gabi sessions, still, my consolation is that it’s the meaning and the spirit of the season that counts. Summer power

Auto Date Saturday, April 8th, 2006

At last, summer is here. Yey!

Back when we were kids (which was not so long ago.. ehem), summer was heaven - vacation! Hay, those were the days of day-long patintero, piko, tumbang preso, street-style football, syato, agawan-base, kite-flying, frisbee at ang walang kamatayang bahay-bahayan, teacher-teacheran, office-officean, etc. :) Whatever to keep us kids occupied from the boredom (or bliss) of no school activities whatsover. Of course, there’s the ubiquitous halo-halo stand in every street corner, which should not be missed whether they use Carnation or Alaska.

Now, summer is summer. Play is now work (with play haha). Halo-halo is now delivered by Chowking. And of course, summer is about outings (when schedule and budget permits). With the onslaught of promos from domestic airline companies, this promises to be a Byahe Tayo summer (I wish hehe.. sana magkaroon every year). Plus the heat, whew..

Behold, it’s Coppertone season :)
In weddings, you know it’s summer when the garden weddings come after one another.

For Team Konsepto, it promises to be one sweltering busy summer season. Starting off with…

Aww shucks

Auto Date Friday, February 17th, 2006

Just when we thought we were going to spend the weekend meeting you guys in the bridal fair…oops, change of plans.

Yep, we were approached some months ago by another supplier to share their booth for the said event.
Yep, we did agree to share said booth with said supplier for said event.
Yep, we did pay for our share of the booth to said supplier.
Yep, we did prepare logistically for said event (although our team came a bit late due to other engagements).
Yep, we were there today and shared the said booth, at least from 2pm to around 8pm, I think. Or until the little misunderstanding with the event organizer regarding our inclusion in the event happened.

I wasn’t there (yet) but here’s the official version from a member of our team: According to the event organizer, another supplier “complained” (for want of a more positive word) of our inclusion in the said event. It seems that the event organizer wasn’t aware of our inclusion, as well. It seems that the event organizer allowed our partner supplier to share the booth, but assumed that the booth will be shared with a group of the same entity and not by another unique, friendly, great, the best supplier. That’s what the little misunderstanding is all about. Booth sharing. There’s a new term to google about for a definite meaning.

We’re not one to make a scene, so we just told our team to take all our stuff back to the office. C’est la vie. That’s life.

The good news is, while preparing for this event, we’re now done with this.

Now we’re raring for our comeback in the Wedding Expo, where we will have our own booth.

Hopefully, we’d all really gonna see you there.

yey
